The University of La Verne (ULV) was founded in 1891 as Lordsburg College by members of the Church of the Brethren who moved west. Both the college and the agricultural community were renamed La Verne in 1917. In the 1920s and 1930s, three quarters of the student body was in teacher education.

The original library for Lordsburg College when it opened in fall of 1891 was located on the first floor of the remodeled Lordsburg Hotel building. “A large library room furnished with reading tables, where many of the best magazines are available for the students, is one of the helpful adjuncts of the college.” (Annual Catalog 1909-1910, Lordsburg College).
Wi-Fi Internet access is available at all Residence Halls. Wireless network access is available to all University of La Verne students in several buildings and outdoor areas on main campus as well as regional campuses. Computers that connect to the wireless network will be scanned by our Network Admission Control System before access to the Internet is allowed.
You must use the services of the Health Center during their hours of operation where treatment will be administered, or a referral issued.
The University’s main campus is located on the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, some 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Its 38-acre campus is located in the City of La Verne’s historic Old Town district.

I like program and class groups, my experience is very good in overal.
I think the program of Public Relations and Media studies is very well structured and organized. I think it is a perfect combination of theory and practical knowledge gained through group work and projects. The professors are easily approachable and always there to help.
I would recommend it because there are a lot of practical learning where students are guided in a way that enables them to apply the acquired managerial skills in real life.
