This upcoming semester, the Dallas law firm is offering The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship.

They are proud to provide future lawyers the opportunity to make their education more affordable and to inspire them to explore civil rights issues within the millennial workforce.

The award is worth $1,000 and is available to current and aspiring law school students who appreciate the importance of civil rights in the workforce.

Eligibility

  • Must be a current or aspiring law student.
  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
  • Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Must be at least 17 years of age.

Each applicant must submit the required materials in order to have their application reviewed by our scholarship team. All students are asked to provide proof of enrollment and their contact information.

Additionally, applications must include a submission in the format of a video (approximately 5 minutes or less) or an essay (1000 words or less) discussing the following questions:

What are the most important civil rights issues that affect millennial workers?

Do millennials need to be better informed about how they can protect their rights in the workplace?

How can workers make sure they understand their rights and the ways they can protect themselves?
