Twice a year, they offer students the opportunity to receive a scholarship of $1,000. 

Eligibility

Through their Difference Makers Scholarship, they intend to award students who they feel truly deserve the award because they have made it their mission to serve their community in a positive way. Eligible students must also meet this list of requirements:

  • Student is enrolled in an accredited university or college within the United States
  • Student is in their junior or senior year of college
  • Student is a United States citizen or permanent resident

To apply for the Difference Makers Scholarship, they ask students to submit contact information and proof of enrollment (examples: unofficial academic transcript, letter of acceptance/admittance, etc.). They also require that each student include a submission in the form of an essay (1,000 words or less) or video (5 minutes or less) answering the following prompt:

What is the best memory you have made while making a difference within your community? What positive changes do you hope to make in your community in the near future? Why do you think this type of service is important?
