Eligibility

To be an eligible candidate for our Fall 2025 Dreams Without Borders Scholarship, you must:

  • Come from an immigrant family.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record, maintaining a 3.0 GPA minimum.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited law school in the United States for the Fall 2025 semester.
  • Be at least 17 years of age or older.
  • Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient.

If you meet the above criteria, you can move on to the next step. The list of required materials applicants must submit is as follows: proof of enrollment at an accredited law school for the Fall 2025 semester (accepted options may include an acceptance letter, letter of enrollment, class schedule, etc), contact information, and an essay or video submission.

Students are asked to provide either a 500-word essay or a two-minute video essay answering this prompt:

What areas of immigration law do you feel could be improved? How would these improvements positively affect the lives of immigrants interested in coming to America?
