October is a very busy month in Boston and hotel space is at a premium. The hotels below are located within easy commuting distance to Emerson’s campus. Many families find it more cost-effective to stay outside of the city and commute for Family Weekend activities, and we encourage you to explore other area’s that are accessible via T, the Commuter Rail, or looking into Airbnb.com. Regardless of where you'd like to stay, please make your reservations early!
Emerson provides many services and resources to promote the health and safety of the entire campus community. The Center for Health and Wellness offers treatment for acute and minor illnesses, routine exams and lab tests, health education, and referrals to other health professionals.
Located in the Piano Row building at 150 Boylston Street, the Max Mutchnick Campus Center is a gathering place for the Emerson College community. As a student, staff member, or faculty member, you can relax in any of the Center's social spaces, reserve rooms for meetings or events, or request services such as off-campus student lockers or promotional tables.
In addition to competitive sports, Emerson also offers intramural, recreational, and fitness opportunities. All students enjoy a free membership to the on-campus Fitness Center, which offers group classes and state-of-the-art training equipment. To enter the facility, please have your Emerson ID with you to scan in. Membership is free to all presently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students with proof of enrollment and a valid student ID, as well as all full-time staff and faculty with a valid Emerson ID. Part-time staff and faculty members can purchase a membership for $50 per semester.
Emerson students are doers and learners, even after class is over for the day. Whether it’s directing a studio production for The Emerson Channel, rehearsing a routine for the Emerson Dance Company, or DJing at WERS-FM, Emerson students are constantly creating and collaborating. With more than 80 student organizations plus the numerous opportunities here in Boston, there really is something for everyone.
