Overview

The areas of focus in the Civil Engineering - Architectural Engineering Emphasis programme from California State University Fullerton are structural, geotechnical, environmental, construction, water resources, transportation and architectural engineering. Most course topics are well integrated with computer-aided analysis and design tools. Specifically, nine design courses are offered that meet or exceed the standards of professional practice.

All design courses are taught by faculty members who are registered professional engineers and have extensive field experience. Students learn state-of-the-art design principles and practices that provide a tremendous asset in professional life. Through the curriculum, students also learn about safety, reliability, ethics, and socially and globally sensitive problems.

First-year students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Complete the 15-unit comprehensive “A-G” pattern with a grade of C- or better by high school graduation.

"A-G" requirement may not be completed during the summer term prior to fall enrollment.

Earn a competitive Multi Factor Admission Score (MFAS) as described below. Minimum MFAS will fluctuate each term based on the strength of the applicant pool.
