Education USA awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.

Eligibility

  • It is necessary to be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey and to actually reside in Turkey. Candidates who have applied for a Green Card issued by the American government or have American citizenship / Green Card cannot apply for the scholarship.
  • Individuals who have previously participated in a US government-sponsored exchange program funded for a period of more than six weeks and who have not met the two-year rule of the J-1 visa at the time of applying for this scholarship cannot apply for the scholarship.
  • Must be at least 18 years old on July 1,.
  • Candidates who are enrolled in a vocational school in Turkey can apply for the scholarship. Individuals who are enrolled in any four-year undergraduate program or have graduated from a four-year undergraduate program cannot apply for the scholarship.
  • The first-year GPA of 2nd-year vocational school students must be at least 70 out of 100 or at least 2.80 out of 4.00. 
  • The high school graduation grade point average of vocational school preparatory and first year students must be at least 3.50 out of 5.00 or at least 70 out of 100. 
  • As stated above, only the high school graduation grade point average of vocational school preparatory and first year students will be taken into account. For 2nd year students, only vocational school 1st year GPA will be taken into consideration.
  • It is necessary to have at least intermediate knowledge of English.
