Description

The Morningside Blaisdell-Hartsfield Scholarship was established by the Morningside of Fullerton Retirement CommunityFoundation through the generosity of resident Leeann Blaisdell-Hartsfield.

The scholarship providesfinancial assistance to CSUF undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate students of all majors.

Thepurpose of the scholarship is to support achievement among disadvantaged students. The scholarshipsare intended to minimize students’ debt burden.

Benefits

The scholarship offers a $2,500 amount to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

Open to CSUF students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate student in any major at CSU Fullerton.
  • Demonstrated financial need by filing the FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Preference is given to students who are currently employed at Morningside or Park Vista Senior Residencies.

Complete the online scholarship application

Submit a letter of recommendation; from a teacher, school counselor, community college facultymember, or volunteer or work supervisor;

Submit a one-page essay including any financial hardship challenges you face in attending college and why this scholarship will support your degree attainment and career goals. 

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have it on file with the Office of Financial Aid to establish financial need.
