Description
The Robert Gass Debate Scholarship is named for Dr. Robert Gass, who coached debate teams at Cal. State Fullerton for 14 years, as the assistant director (1981-83), director (1983-89), and co-director (1989-95) of forensics. He served as the Chair of the department of Human Communication Studies from 2011-2013.

Eligibility
- This scholarship is open to undergraduate debaters who compete in policy debate, with a preference for National Debate Tournament (NDT) debate at the varsity level.
- Must be a full-time student in good academic standing, with a minimum of one year of experience in high school or policy debate, along with a track record of success or strong potential for success in intercollegiate debate competition.
