Best Global Universities Rankings by U.S. News & World Report presents all the top universities from the U.S. and 60 other countries around the world. They measure the rate of students going to their second year of studies, as well as the rate of students who graduate. It also asks university representatives on the performance of universities, and evaluates university resources, teacher salaries, graduation rates, student academic achievements and satisfaction. After calculating and comparing these criteria, U.S. News ranks the top international universities accordingly.

UNLV has reached the top of U.S. News & World Report’s annual listing of the nation’s most diverse universities for undergraduates. After two years in second, UNLV is now in a three-way tie for first in the publication’s Best Ethnic Diversity category. It’s a reflection of our Southern Nevada community and a factor that elevates the value of a UNLV education. As the nation becomes more diverse as a whole, companies increasingly will look for employees who can lead diverse workforces.
Library services
UNLV Libraries participate in the articulation and assessment of student learning; provide direct instruction to students; partner with classroom faculty on course and assignment design; and intentionally create co-curricular learning experiences.
