Overview

Many of the world’s widespread health challenges are consequences of broken food systems. You’ll study these systems and their impacts on nutrition and health outcomes with this Food Systems, Nutrition, and Health major at the University of Washington.

Highlights

Bachelor of Arts. A liberal arts degree provides intellectual and practical skills like inquiry, analysis, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving, all of which are valuable in today’s marketplace.

The UW no longer requires SAT or ACT scores for most applicants. Homeschooled applicants and applicants who come from schools with non-standard grading practices that do not have letter or numeric grades are still required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
