As part of the Youth Education Program, EDC provides up to 20 scholarships a year to international business post-secondary students at Canadian universities and colleges, and 7 scholarships to post-secondary students representing the next generation of community champions from a diversity of backgrounds.
EDC Indigenous Community Leader Scholarship is available to Indigenous students (First Nations status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit) pursuing studies at a Canadian college, university, or cégep.
The value of the scholarship is $5,000.
Be pursuing post-secondary studies at a Canadian college, university, or cégep for the 2023-2024 academic year in a field related to EDC’s work, including one of the following:
Have strong academic standing (minimum 70% cumulative average).

Complete the online application in the careers portal, under “Search jobs”. The application process ends in late February. Scholarships are awarded in the spring, and issued in the fall at the start of each academic year.
