The Banking and Finance program offered by The University of the West Indies aims to increase students' capability to develop practical knowledge and policy advice for the sustainable growth of the financial sector in the Caribbean and promote scientific economic thinking and policy-making in the Caribbean with respect to banking and finance in both the private and public sectors.

General requirements
- Five (5) CXC (at least grades I, II or III) or GCE O' Level passes in Mathematics and English Language plus three (3) other subjects.
- An Associate Degree, Diploma and/or Certificate from other approved tertiary institutions having attained a B+ average or a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- High School Grade 12 transcript with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum SAT I score of 1700 plus a minimum of two SAT II subjects at a score of 500 or above or successful completion of Advanced Placement Courses or the International Baccalaurete programme.
- CAPE (Units 1 and 2) or GCE A' Level passes in at least two subjects.
