The Ohio University's College of Business offers an undergraduate major that develops students skills and competencies in business analytics and provides them with hands on experience of statistical tools used in the business environment using data provided by industry partners.Business Analytics comprise of two equally important domains:

  • Information Management: the creation, collection, organization, processing, analysis and reporting of data within the context of business processes in the enterprise using database software and visualization tools.
  • Statistical methods, tools and techniques: the quantitative understanding of statistical methods, techniques, and tools to analyze the data and contextualize it within the business to gain competitive insight.
