HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht was founded in 1995 after a merger of several independent institutions.

Studying at HU University of Applied Sciences means studying in a beautiful medieval city – one of the oldest in the Netherlands. Hosting 70,000 students from 125 countries – almost a quarter of the city’s population – Utrecht is a real academic melting pot.
Sports facilities
In the Sport Friends project, students cooperate with young people from youth healthcare organisations during their social service time. By exercising together, they build on mutual trust and the student can become a role model and coach. We are looking into the benefits that this project provides for those involved.

I'm currently in my second university year, in a bachelor of creative business where you mostly do research and a bit of creativity is applied. I'm still indecisive about whether or not to continue this course but for personal reasons, besides that the university is amazing and whenever I bring people that are new to the campus, they absolutely love everything about it.
Serving humanity is my only purpose.
Overall, it was a great experience for me and I want to learn more by moving abroad gor higher education.
Wide programme needs focus
The overal structure of the CB programme is lacking and could be majorly improved! The teachers are good, some are better than others, but they lack teaching experience. The courses keep changing and you constantly feel as if even the CB itself doesn't know what they are doing. The topics are interesting, but the teaching lacks. I feel that the programme is too broad too and that I need to do a masters in order to actually obtain certain skills.
