Description

The Diamant Gerstein law firm is proud to offer the Diamant Gerstein Jewish Heritage Scholarship to recognize and support Jewish students who demonstrate outstanding leadership skills.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate to their scholarship committee their commitment to uplifting their community and supporting the values that are dear to the Jewish community, such as respecting others and giving back through charity or "tzedakah," as it is known in Hebrew.

This $1,000 scholarship is open to students with a history of exceptional leadership.

Eligibility

Students interested in applying to their Jewish Heritage Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • The student must be Jewish.
  • The student must have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • The student must be presently enrolled at a college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate.
  • The student must be at least 17 years old.

To be considered for their scholarship, viable candidates must provide the following: proof they are enrolled in an accredited college or university; proof of the required grade-point average; and requested contact information.

Students are also required to submit either a three-minute video or a 750-word written essay answering the following prompt:

Share something you have learned through Judaism that has helped you become a better leader.
