As the world’s first undergraduate Peace Studies degree at Manchester University, it blends rigorous academic study with real-world engagement in peacemaking and conflict resolution, preparing students to connect theory with practice.

The mission is to graduate individuals with a critical understanding of the causes and consequences of violence and injustice, equipped with the knowledge and skills to resolve conflict nonviolently and promote justice.

Peace studies prepares graduates to be capable, confident, and courageous in the work of building a more peaceful and just world.
