About

Find out more information about International Development

Think of International Development as modern superheroes, except that they don’t fight giant alien holes in the sky, but help governments short on resources to create better living standards. As a subfield of Social Sciences, International Development focuses on raising wellbeing on an international level, based on the idea that in an interconnected world, if others are doing a bit better, so will all of as.

Searching for and establishing the issues that need improvement around the world, students will analyse national policies and create certain institutions in order to help and improve the living standard in countries which need it.

Graduates of International Development, either Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees, will be, mainly, employed by donors, foundations, consultants, or advocates, and can find jobs in fields as:

• Research
• Policy making
• Diplomacy
• PR
• Advocacy
