Although I decided to attain my present university because of its enabling students to take classes outside of their specific major too, this chance was taken away when I was a freshman. So I couldn't really find what I was looking for in the sense of interdisciplinary development. However, in the sense of my ow major, I can say that the education has been satisfactory.
Definitely it's the best one in the country, in all aspects. Yet, the growing number of the students, thinking of the limited sources of the institution, is a problem.
It is definitely the best university in Turkey. Most of the professors are nice, and the courses opened each year are very comprehensive. My department, in particular, has taught me a lot about applied linguistics. There is also a lot of opportunities to get elective courses from other departments.
