Overview

The department has a strong commitment to educate young chemists and offers research opportunities in all the active research fields. While pursuing their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Bogazici University's students have the option to take part in our international exchange programs and spend part of their education in universities in the US and in Europe.

Learning outcomes

Most of the BS graduates pursue graduate studies in our department or at academic institutions abroad. Our B.S. graduates and graduate students (Ph.D. and M.S.) are in an extremely competitive position in both the academic and chemical industrial job markets in Turkey. Benefiting from departmental industrial and academic contacts worldwide, our graduate students have been remarkably successful at home and abroad.
