For more than 50 years, Kennesaw State University has been known for its entrepreneurial spirit and sense of community. Offering campuses in Marietta and Kennesaw, the university is located just north of Atlanta.On January 6, 2015, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved the consolidation of Kennesaw State and Southern Polytechnic State University.

GALILEO (GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online) is Georgia’s award-winning virtual library that offers access to thousands of full-text magazines, journals, encyclopedias, and electronic books to every Georgia citizen.GALILEO stores and organizes databases. Each database stores and organizes journals either on a single or on multiple subjects. Journals are where articles are located.

Student Health Services provides comprehensive primary care on both the Kennesaw and Marietta campus. Our clinical team is comprised of board certified physicians supported by experienced nurse practitioners.The Counseling and Psychological Services Office serves as a confidential source where concerns can be discussed with a counselor in a private setting. .

Kennesaw State University Student Media (KSUSM) is home to KSU’s student-produced media outlets, which provide news, information, and entertainment to the campus and hands-on learning opportunities for students.
The Student Recreation and Activities Center houses the Department of Sports and Recreation and the Center for Health Promotion and Wellness.Club Sports at KSU are designed "for the students; by the students." Teams compete at home and away against other universities from around the country.
Assisted by the staff of the Department of Sports and Recreation, students are challenged to build their leadership, communication, decision making, organizational, problem solving, and team building skills. The actual success and strength of each club is dependent on effective leadership of the officers and the degree of involvement of its club members.
The Kennesaw State University Alumni Association is governed by a 17-member board of directors that serve the initiatives of the University and represent the perspectives of a diverse alumni community.The Southern Polytechnic State University Alumni Association is governed by a 19-member board of directors that represent the perspectives of a diverse alumni community.Since chartering February 5, 2000, the Black Alumni Society (BAS) works to inform, involve and serve alumni as it promotes Kennesaw State University.Officially launched in April 2012, Women’s Council is driven by the alumnae of Kennesaw State through its focus on leadership development, volunteerism and support of the University.
