Overview
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Criminal Justice at Concordia University, St. Paul, offers students a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system. Students will engage in a relevant and intriguing criminal justice core curriculum, examining areas such as courts, corrections, crime, criminology, criminal law, juvenile justice, policing, punishment, and more.
The curriculum allows students to explore their specific interests in the field, including completing a career experience/internship, while preparing for a wide range of careers or graduate study in criminal justice. With the vastness of the criminal justice system and criminal justice discipline, this program offers a variety of exciting topics, careers, and coursework. The program is also certified by the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Board to meet the academic requirements for those pursuing Minnesota police officer licensure.
