Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business, whether it is in the context of a new venture or within an existing firm, focusing on three areas: developing an entrepreneurial mindset, learning how to manage a small or family business, and learning how to innovate and lead change.

The Entrepreneurship programme from Oklahoma State University is consistently ranked as one of the top 25 programmes in the nation by the Princeton Review. The Riata Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an outreach center that support students through competitions, workshops, one-on-one mentoring and access to funding for new ventures.
