About this Kinesiology (Exercise Science) Degree

The Department of Kinesiology currently offers 8 Concentrations (listed below) within the B.S. in Kinesiology degree. We are proud to offer the highest number of concentrations of any kinesiology department in the CSU or UC system.

The intra-disciplinary focus of the Department’s curriculum fosters the development of diverse values and skills important to a liberal arts education: critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, verbal and written communication, and technological competency.

The Department at California State University Fullerton provides general education courses and university-wide opportunities for development of skills and knowledge leading to lifelong enjoyment of physical activity, health, and well-being. Internships, independent study, and scholarly outreach provide opportunities for collaboration with and service to the community.

General requirements

First-year students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Complete the 15-unit comprehensive “A-G” pattern with a grade of C- or better by high school graduation.
"A-G" requirement may not be completed during the summer term prior to fall enrollment.
Earn a competitive Multi Factor Admission Score (MFAS) as described below. Minimum MFAS will fluctuate each term based on the strength of the applicant pool.

Prepare application materials such as transcripts, test scores (AP/IB), current and planned courses, annual household income, citizenship status and social security number (if available).
