  • Enter the exciting career field of law enforcement. Many of Frostburg State University criminal justice graduates hold positions with the state and local police departments, the ATF, corrections, juvenile justice and the secret service.
  • Gain an understanding of the workings of the United States criminal justice system, including its agencies, personnel and diverse responsibilities.
  • Acquire excellent written and oral skills, an understanding of ethics and ethical behavior, civil rights and liberties and theories of punishment and corrections.
  • Complete an internship with such organizations as the state police, C3I (Maryland’s CSI equivalent) or federal law enforcement, if desired.
