At its core, the Journalism and New Media program offered by the Lipscomb University is the study of human interaction at the levels of interpersonal, small group, public, organizational, and mass communication.     The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

  • You’ll need to take one of the following tests: ACT, SAT, TOEFL or IELTS. If English is not your first language, we recommend that you take the TOEFL or IELTS. If you are a native English speaker or if your education up to this point has been in English, we recommend the SAT or ACT. Your results must be sent to the university directly from the testing service.
