Overview

This Hospitality and Event Planning (Management Concentration) program at Fisher College is designed to familiarize students with the hospitality industry as well as the field of event planning and management. Students will develop their research, communication, decision-making, interpersonal, critical, and analytical thinking skills throughout this curriculum and obtain valuable skills to begin their career.

Program Mission

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Event Planning (Management Concentration) program of Fisher College is committed to providing educational excellence through a carefully constructed business management core curriculum and selective concentrations. This curriculum will provide a strong grounding in broad-based fundamental management knowledge and skills to prepare students for meaningful and productive careers as managers and professionals.

We make use of and build on the liberal arts foundation to develop students who have strong analytical skills, and who are able to think, write, and communicate clearly and effectively. Graduates will be able to combine the theory and practice of management with an interpersonal/ cross-cultural understanding of the diverse global environment in which we live, and will be well prepared for ethical decision-making.
