Framingham State University’s Finance Program equips you with financial analysis skills in asset valuation, capital budgeting, investment, portfolio and wealth management, as well as risk management. There are two concentrations in the major - general finance and financial planning - the latter of which will help you become a Certified Financial Planner.

Graduates work in a variety of finance related jobs, ranging from banks, mutual funds company, insurance company and finance department of firms. For instance, some current alumni work at Commonwealth Planning Group, Edelman Financial, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and TD Bank. As a Finance professional you will enjoy competitive salaries and have the potential for substantial earnings throughout your career.

Analyze budgets and evaluate the financial feasibility of the investments of the company.

Loan Officer

Work for financial institutions and help clients to prepare and apply for loans.
