University rank #601 (WUR) , NM, | Online
Our program provides an excellent, well-rounded marketing degree. You may select from numerous courses that include consumer behavior, marketing management, sales and sales management, retail management, global marketing, and marketing research. We also offer an independent study in entrepreneurship.

The PGA Golf Management specialization is sanctioned by the Professional Golfer’s Association of America. This 4½-year program leads to a BBA with a major in Marketing and a specialization in PGA Golf Management.

Course Delivery: Face-to-Face or Online. Marketing students typically earn their degree through a combination of traditional face-to-face classes and online courses. Marketing majors can earn the degree with all major coursework delivered through either delivery system.

You may earn this degree exclusively through either system (for example, taking all major courses either online or in a traditional classroom format); however, you must work closely with an academic advisor to select and sequence the courses — many required courses are offered only once a year in each format. In addition, your elective options may be limited since marketing elective courses are not offered in both formats. The department has a “master schedule” to assist you and your advisor in the selection of courses using either the online or face-to-face delivery model.

Sample Careers

Most marketing majors enter into careers with business firms, although some find job opportunities in government and others in non-profit organizations. Still others become involved in owning and managing their independent companies. Because of the increasing attention on meeting customer needs, there is a growing demand for well-educated marketing graduates.
