The Mathematics with Secondary Teaching Certification from The University of Texas at Arlington is intended for those students seeking a traditional liberal arts education with an emphasis on mathematics.

Most mathematics faculty members’ research is supported by the National Science Foundation, National Security Agency, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Department of Education, Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

The American Mathematical Society named The University of Texas at Arlington the winner of its 2013 AMS Award for an Exemplary Program or Achievement in a Mathematics Department.
