Program Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of the undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program at the Tandon School of Engineering of New York University are for its graduates to:

Apply scientific principles, interdisciplinary knowledge, critical thinking skills, cutting-edge technology, relevant codes and standards, and a passion for civil engineering to solve complex engineering and societal problems.

Work in an ethical and professional manner towards safe, sustainable and resilient civil and urban infrastructure systems.
