Description
The program is named in honor of the late real estate developer and NYU alumnus Lewis Rudin.
Benefits
In addition to their scholarship, they participate in academic and cultural activities throughout the city.
Eligibility
- Rudin Scholars are outstanding entering first-year students selected from public and parochial high schools in all five boroughs of New York City.
- If you are not a New York State resident, you should contact your state financial aid agency to ask if you qualify for this scholarship.

When you apply to attend NYU, you should also fill out the FAFSA and CSS Profile by their deadlines to be considered for available financial aid.
Deadlines:
First-Years: Early Decision I: November 10 for CSS Profile
First-Years: Early Decision II: January 10 for CSS Profile
First-Years: Regular Decision: February 1 for CSS Profile
Transfers: March 22 (Fall/Summer Applicants), and October 22 (Spring Applicants) for FAFSA
Second Bachelor's: April 15 (Fall/Summer Applicants), and November 15 (Spring Applicants) for FAFSA
