Overview
The Speech-Language Pathology program offered by Baldwin Wallace University enables you to begin your career as a speech therapist a full year earlier than the traditional format of four years of undergraduate studies followed by two or more years of graduate school. Plus, you’ll benefit from paying four years of undergraduate BW tuition and only three semesters of graduate school tuition – a potential savings of thousands of dollars.
Key Facts
As a communication sciences & disorders major, you can apply to BW's integrated B.S./M.S. Speech-Language Pathology program during the summer between your second and third year of study at BW. The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is not required for admission.
At the beginning of your fourth year, you will transition directly into the master's program and begin taking graduate coursework. You'll graduate from BW with both a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences & disorders and a master's degree in speech-language pathology. You'll be prepared to pass the Praxis exam for speech-language pathology and be ready for employment as a speech-language pathologist.
