In 1845, more than 15 years before the Civil War, Baldwin Wallace was founded as one of the first colleges in the nation to admit students without regard to race or gender. Today, you’ll find that spirit of inclusiveness has flourished and evolved into a personalized approach to education.

After more than a century and a half, BW is still characterized by leadership and innovation in education. The liberal arts, which teach you how to think critically and communicate effectively, remain at the center of your academic program.

Research is an exciting part of the BW experience. In addition to being dedicated teachers, our professors are passionate scholars and researchers who are more than willing to involve you in their latest project or activity.

The BW Career Network by Handshake is a web-based platform with 24/7 access to targeted employment opportunities, career mentors and relevant resources based on career interests.
