Sports Communication and Media from Sacred Heart University dual degree sports communication & media program, students gain hands-on experience in sports broadcasting and communications through numerous real-world experiences. Program faculty members are industry experts and have a wealth of experience in the sports media industry.

Dual degree students are guaranteed admission to the Master of Arts in Sports Communication & Media provided they continue, as undergraduate students, to meet program-specific criteria to progress into graduate program enrollment.

The sports broadcasting track trains students through in-class exercise, out-of-class field production work and internships with sports media companies. All SCM students will graduate with an accomplished digital portfolio/production reel of their work.

The athletic communications & promotions track gain extensive multimedia training in graphics production, preparing them for many different careers in athletic communications.
