Math Education Grades 6-12 is offered by McNeese State University. Following all current Louisiana state-mandated standards and program requirements, the Bachelor of Science degree in mathematical sciences with a concentration in mathematics education grades 6–12 is accredited by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation.

Curriculum encompasses the study of mathematical sciences and educational practices necessary to be a successful math teacher, including Tier 1 curriculum, planning, instruction, technology implementation and classroom engagement and management. With this bachelor’s degree, you’ll be ready to start a career in math education immediately after graduation with initial teacher certification.
