The entrepreneurship degree at UW is for students who wish to start their businesses. It provides exposure to the development of business concepts and formulating and implementing business plans that will assist in the establishment and growth of these new ventures.

The Entrepreneurship major at University of Wyoming is designed for students who would like to develop and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, which will help them to create and recognize opportunities in all facets of their lives. This program is intended for all students, whether they are interested in working for a larger innovative company, starting their own business, working for a family business or creating the life of their dreams.

In addition to courses offered, we host an annual entrepreneurship summit alongside an entrepreneurship competition with cash prizes totaling $50,000. Our goal through this program is to "activate" as many young entrepreneurs as possible through education about best practices, resources provided to help them succeed and mentorship to show them what is possible.
