Key features

The Music Production and Recording Arts program is is housed in a dedicated multi-studio complex on our Dobbs Ferry campus.

Students at Mercy University are able to specialize in topics including: music recording and production; music mixing and mastering; sound for gaming and animation; remote recording and more.

Students will learn from a faculty of industry professionals bringing "real world" experience to the classroom. Through a "hands-on" curriculum and project based learning, students develop practical skills while acquiring the critical theoretical knowledge needed to adapt to future technologies.

General requirements

Students must submit a high school transcript for their application to be reviewed. We will accept either an unofficial or official transcript. Students are able to upload these transcripts through our student portal.
An official final high school transcript (provided by the high school to Mercy College), which includes all secondary school grades, class rank and date of graduate must be submitted prior to enrollment.
Students whose transcripts are unavailable should consult with an admissions counselor. Or, the applicant can provide a High School Equivalency Diploma, if applicable, with corresponding score sheet.
