By the end of the Mercy University's Design and Animation program, students will be able to:

Critique his or her work and that of his or her peers from a well informed perspective including knowledge of historical, creative, and technical aspects of art and design
Demonstrate an understanding of the theory and skills necessary to be successful in the field by actively engaging in classroom critiques, assigned readings, course projects, or independent research
Identify and use the appropriate production tools and techniques to complete advanced work in design
Create a sophisticated body of work that demonstrates proficiency or expertise in design

General requirements

Students must submit a high school transcript for their application to be reviewed. We will accept either an unofficial or official transcript. Students are able to upload these transcripts through our student portal.
An official final high school transcript (provided by the high school to Mercy College), which includes all secondary school grades, class rank and date of graduate must be submitted prior to enrollment.
Students whose transcripts are unavailable should consult with an admissions counselor. Or, the applicant can provide a High School Equivalency Diploma, if applicable, with corresponding score sheet.
