The Bachelor of Science in Health Studies offers four dynamic degree options that prepares students to enter a variety of health-related fields in administration, or to enter a graduate program in specific health professional fields such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant or DO schools. Additionally, students with health-related or business associate degrees can easily transfer some credits to our bachelor’s program and continue their bachelor’s education in our program. The most outstanding feature of the Bachelor of Science in Health Studies is that course requirements for entry into various professional graduate schools are incorporated into the degree plan, resulting in no extra coursework.

Our innovative Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (BSHS) is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a health-related career. The BSHS offers two major options that prepare students to enter a variety of non-clinical management positions, or to enter a specific health professional field such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant or DO schools.
Both major options begin with two years of guided courses including humanities, mathematics, biology, and english. During the second two years, students take courses that focus on business basics, healthcare delivery systems, cultural diversity, ethics, healthcare law, leadership and research in healthcare. Students complete a senior-level practicum experience with on-the-job training while under supervision at an approved agency.
