The BS in Interior Architecture and Master of Architecture Dual Program degree delivered at University of Tennessee Knoxville have three paths to provide greater opportunity for your career goals. In addition to the BSIA, we offer two additional degree options to prepare students for an accelerated master’s degree in either architecture or landscape architecture.

General requirements
Admission to the college is based on the following criteria:
- GPA (high school)
- ACT/SAT score (The University of Tennessee has decided to make standardized test scores optional for the 2021 application.)
- Review of academic records
- Portfolio score (optional for Interior Architecture applicants)
- You can apply for admission one of two ways: Vol in Progress (VIP) or the Common App. You’ll need a VIP account if you choose to submit a portfolio (see details below). This is also how you apply for scholarships.
- Consider submitting a portfolio, which is optional.
