Description

Applicants interested in the OAS-UT Scholarship must first be admitted to or currently attending the University of Tennessee.

To begin the admission process please visit the UT admissions page. Upon admission to UT, the applicant will automatically be considered as a candidate for the OAS- UT scholarship.

Once awarded the applicant’s scholarship funds will be applied to the student’s financial account at UT after the semester starts. 

Eligibility

  • Be a new applicant or current student who will be in an undergraduate program at the University of Tennessee (other than Nursing, Music, and Architecture).
  • Be a citizen or legal resident of any of the OAS Member States, except the United States.
  • Be on an F1 student visa.

UT’s international scholarship committee and OAS will select the scholarship recipients. 

Only selected applicants will be contacted by UT to determine their interest in the OAS-UT scholarship.

Once the recipient responds a final list will be sent to OAS who will contact recipients via email, where they will receive the scholarship offer and instructions for acceptance. Once the candidate has accepted the scholarship offer, UT will issue an award letter that the recipient can use during the I-20 issuance process.
