Overview
Mercer University's Early Learning and Development program is a four-year bachelor's degree program that offers students the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge they need to become effective educators in early childhood settings. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in child development, early learning, and pedagogy.
Through a combination of classroom instruction, experiential learning, and community engagement, students in the Early Learning and Development program learn about topics such as child psychology, curriculum design, assessment, and family engagement. They also gain practical experience through field placements, internships, and hands-on learning opportunities.
