The Finance program at University of Southern Mississippi goal is that each of our students, upon graduation, possess the educational background necessary for advancement in public, corporate, and governmental organizations.

What Will I Learn?

The finance curriculum provides foundations in theory, analytical tools and problem-solving methods fundamental to a broad array of applications that are vital to financial and non-financial firms alike. Students will have the opportunity to take courses in financial management, money and capital markets, investments, bank management, real estate valuation, and working capital management. While the curriculum focuses on finance knowledge, it also teaches the basic professional skills that every business person needs.
