Overview
Through the 3+3 Law degree program, you’ll earn a Bachelor’s degree from McKendree University in the area of your choice and a Juris Doctor from SLU School of Law in six years. Qualifying students will spend their first three years at McKendree completing all major and general education requirements for their undergraduate degree. The next three years will be spent at SLU School of Law.
Once you’ve completed your first year of law school, you’ll be able to transfer 30 credit hours from SLU to McKendree and receive your Bachelor’s degree. These 30 hours will be counted as upper-level electives toward your McKendree degree, as well as future fulfillment of SLU’s Juris Doctor requirements.
