Offered by the Colangelo College of Business at Grand Canyon University, this Applied Entrepreneurship program examines the principles of entrepreneurship and builds a solid foundation for analytical thinking, problem solving and contributing to today’s global economy.
GCU prioritizes quality training in servant leadership, ethics and entrepreneurship throughout all of our business curriculum. As a BS in Applied Entrepreneurship student, you will have the opportunity to refine your skill set across a diverse range of concepts. You’ll learn how to thrive in complex business environments and apply values-based principles to different business scenarios in order to succeed at GCU and far beyond in your career.
This entrepreneurship program is transfer-friendly and ideal for non-traditional students who want to apply existing credits toward a business degree. As a student in our entrepreneurship program, you’ll investigate challenges facing contemporary organizations and solve business needs. You’ll examine how mission-driven ventures can serve both an organization and the greater good of society. You’ll even have the chance to create and test hypotheses, develop a scalable business model and create a pitch for potential investors. GCU has valuable entrepreneurship opportunities available for our students who want to take their business to the next level, such as the IDEA Club and the Canyon Challenge (a Shark Tank-style competition).
In the Bachelor of Science in Applied Entrepreneurship program, you’ll learn:

To be accepted for admission to Grand Canyon University's (GCU) campus or online undergraduate programs, you must submit acceptable high school or college transcripts to meet the admission requirements
Direct start applicants interested in attending GCU must meet one of the following requirements:
High School Graduate with an Unweighted GPA of 3.0+
High School Graduate with an Unweighted GPA of 2.5+ and Qualifying College Entrance Exam Score
