What is civil engineering? Some civil engineering projects seem invisible, such as roads designed for pedestrian, bicyclist and vehicle safety. Others strike us because they loom so impressively large.

Graduates from the University of Central Missouri who work as civil engineer technicians design and administer construction of the commercial and civil projects people admire and use every day, such as bridges, stadiums, skyscrapers, power plants and waterways.

Program Learning Outcomes

The graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology - Civil Engineering Technology at the University of Central Missouri will use the knowledge and skills obtained in the program to:
