Overview

Upon successful completion of the Business Administration (Information Systems) and Computer Science and Information Systems program from University of North Carolina Wilmington, a student will earn a B.S. in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Information Systems and an M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems (MSCSIS).

Rationale for Proposed Program

This program is an opportunity for students who excel in information systems to pursue a specialized master’s program. The combined program will benefit students in several ways:

Waiver of the graduate application fee for the MSCSIS program
Application of twelve credit hours of graduate course work to satisfy twelve credit hours of undergraduate degree requirements.
Shorten the time required to complete the requirements of the MSCSIS program.

Non-refundable $80 application fee (check or money order in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank, payable to UNCW).
Essay & short answer
An official transcript, translated into English (translation must be certified), of grades from secondary school.
TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, or Pearson test of English score unless: English is applicant's native language.
Applicant has an SAT-I critical reading score of 450 or higher or an ACT minimum score of 20 on the reading section.
A student successfully completes Level 4 in UNCW's ESL program.
Admission to the Cameron School of Business with an Information Systems concentration
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Completion of the B.S./M.S. Combined Program in Information Systems Application Form
Completion of the Undergraduate Request to Enroll in Graduate Courses Form
Students must still apply for the MS CSIS program.
