About Civil Engineering at the Daytona Beach

Housed in the Civil Engineering Department of the College of Engineering, the B.S. in Civil Engineering programme gives students the tools they need to make an impact in tomorrow’s world, engineering transportation networks, and other infrastructure.

The programme takes advantage of ERAU’s advanced technological capabilities to give students the following unique opportunities:

Students begin this programme by completing the College of Engineering’s Freshman Engineering Programme. The programme includes a general education core of Speech and College Success, introductions to engineering and computing, plus courses in calculus, analytical geometry, and physics for engineers.

There is an option for students to develop personal study programmes in topics ranging from hurricane and wind engineering to energy conservation, green engineering, and even designing extraterrestrial habitations.

All International undergraduate applicants who have any educational experience outside the United States may be required to provide an official evaluation in English including the cumulative grade-point average. High school students are required to have a document-by-document evaluation

Students with university credit are also required to have a course-by-course evaluation. Students who have not taken college courses or who have taken less than 30 hours of college coursework must submit an official high school transcript from all high schools attended

Foreign credential evaluations are not needed for the following students: students who have attended an IB Program, students who have attended a high school with U.S. Regional Accreditation or students who have attended an American International School

All international students must provide a copy of his or her valid passport for immigration purposes
