Two state-of-the-art labs provide you with technologies such as geographic information system mapping (GSIS), the Global Positioning System (GPS), and remote sensing. We can help prepare you for a training partnership involving faculty and students in Vietnam and a multi-year project aimed at rebuilding Iraq’s GSIS infrastructure.

A student who earns Geospatial Information Science degree at Oklahoma State University will be well-versed in general GSIS knowledge and will have competency utilizing GSIS hardware and software for the planning, development and maintenance of spatial and nonspatial databases.
